The browser-based programs (AD Phonebook, AD Self Update & AD Self Password Reset) need to be installed on a Windows Server with the IIS role and ASP.NET installed. The server needs to be joined to the domain. Windows 2016 and later is recommended. You can use the powershell script found here to install IIS and the required Role Features such as ASP.NET on a clean server.
The products listed below can now be configured to connect to an Azure Entra tenant as an alternative to on-premise Active Directory:
